Gentle Spirit,
we come, hearts weary from holding grudges,
lips tired from unspoken words—
teach us reconciliation.
Let us not grieve You, Holy Spirit,
you who have sealed us for redemption’s day;
remove bitterness, quell the rage,
still the anger that rises within,
silence the brawling and slander,
eradicate every trace of malice.
Grant us the grace to bear with one another,
in patience threaded with humility.
Where grievances linger, let forgiveness flow—
forgive as Christ forgave us.
We plead, Lord, for unity—
as Euodia and Syntyche, let us be of one mind in You.
Raise up faithful companions, loyal in love,
to guide weary hearts toward restoration.
May our communities reflect Your peace,
woven together in the fabric of grace,
holding fast to one another—
until the broken are mended,
the estranged reconciled,
and Your love reigns in every redeemed heart.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
